What is Secure Messaging?
Messaging within the Intergy
Practice Portal is truly secure. All message content
is stored and viewed completely behind the secure
login. Notification messages are emailed to the
patients’ email account alerting them to log in to
the practice's website. Messages from patients are
sent directly to your Sage Intergy or Sage Intergy
EHR account for next steps.
Message content is completely
controlled by your office and is customized to
effectively communicate with your particular patient
population. With the Intergy Practice Portal and its
securing messaging solution, you get all the great
benefits without the need to add hardware, dedicated
web servers or an IT staff.
How It Works In Your
Practice
- A patient has recently had a
lab test
- The results have been received
and you want to let the patient know that their
results are normal
- When you open their patient
record, the system tells you that their
preferred method of contact is via the portal
- You can easily create a secure
message to send a notice about the lab results
through the portal
- Once the message is sent, the
patient receives an email at their email address
- That message tells them that
they have a secure message waiting on the portal
- The patient then logs in to the
portal and sees that they have messages
- They can easily check them and
respond securely if needed
